We're excited to announce that CurbFlip.com is undergoing a major platform upgrade designed to improve your experience and provide powerful new opportunities for both Hosts and Drivers.

Our team has been working behind the scenes to migrate CurbFlip to a new backend infrastructure. This upgrade will enhance performance, improve our workflow, and allow us to introduce new features based on the valuable feedback we've received from our community.

What's New

Faster, Simpler Account Registration

You'll now be able to sign up based on how you use CurbFlip:

Driver Account – For users looking for parking.
Host Account – For users listing parking spaces.

This creates a more personalized experience right from the start.

Driver Improvements

Drivers will continue to enjoy quick registration, with just one additional step:

Enter your vehicle's make and model during signup.
Browse and book available parking listings anywhere as always.

Host Improvements

Hosts will also benefit from a streamlined signup process, including:

A faster registration experience.
New questions related to the upcoming CurbFlip Store, helping prepare your account for exciting new earning opportunities.

New Payment Processing with Stripe

We're transitioning from PayPal to Stripe as our payment processor.

This change provides Hosts with:

A smoother payment experience.
Faster and more transparent payouts.
An easy one-time setup to connect your Stripe account.

We'll provide simple instructions to guide you through the transition.

Updated Booking Options

Our booking system is becoming even more flexible.

Daily rentals and the existing calendar functionality remain unchanged.
Weekly and Monthly rentals will now use specific start and end dates, just like daily bookings.
Listings will display a daily rate while automatically calculating the total for weekly or monthly reservations.

This allows one booking calendar to manage all reservation types more efficiently.

Introducing the CurbFlip Store

One of the biggest additions to CurbFlip is the launch of the CurbFlip Store.

Hosts will be able to purchase professional Scan-to-Pay parking signs designed for high-demand, real-time parking situations such as:

Festivals
Concerts
Sporting events
Beaches
Community events
Any "day-of" parking opportunity

These signs will include:

Directional arrow signs guiding drivers to available parking.
Parking space signs with a unique QR code.
Instant "Scan to Pay" capability that allows drivers to pay the Host immediately.

The best part? Drivers do not need the CurbFlip app to pay for parking. Anyone can simply scan the QR code and complete payment instantly.

This opens the door for Hosts to monetize event parking and other short-term opportunities far beyond traditional app users.

The redesigned CurbFlip website will also feature detailed instructional videos demonstrating how the CurbFlip Store works and how Hosts can maximize their earnings.
